    IMPRISONMENT AWARENESS DAY

    Foyle Hall Chapel

-Speaker: LINDA TAYLOR: a mother and advocate for alternatives to the death penalty
    Time: 6:00pm
Where: Foyle Chapel- light refreshments to follow in lobby
America is currently the most incarcerated country in the world. As such, we have a responsibility as a society to remember our imprisoned brothers and sisters. In Missouri, we have executed 86 men and women since 1976. We currently have 27 people living on death row. Since 1976, 4 innocent people were freed from death row. How many more innocent people could there be? 1 year ago, Linda Taylor lost her son to the death penalty. Her story of loss and forgiveness is worth sharing in and we invite you to the conversation. As we reflect on what it means to be Christian and to live out the Gospel message of Mercy to all our brothers and sisters, let us consider what it means to share in another’s experience of Mercy.

    APRIL 28, 29, 30 & MAY 1, 2016

Sure, it’s a musical that’s been “lovingly ripped off” from the adored comedy film, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, and that’s exactly why this riotous romp through Camelot is one you’ll want to take! Saddle up with King Arthur and his servant Patsy on their quest for the Holy Grail, and cheer them on as they recruit fellow knights, encounter flatulent Frenchmen, thwart killer rabbits, and more! Critically acclaimed Spamalot is filled with so much singing and dancing silliness that you’ll “Always Look on the Bright Side of Life,” no matter what comes your way!
